Classic Individual eyelash extensions are a 1-to-1 method which involves attaching 1 false eyelash to 1 natural eyelash. This method is great for those with strong and full lashes who would just like their natural lashes to be longer and darker.
Hybrid Eyelash Extensions are the most common method so far in 2019. Hybrids is a combination of both Classics and Volumes. The lashes are first filled out using 3D fans (3 eyelash extensions to 1 natural eyelash) and once the lash artist is happy with the coverage, the remaining lashes are extended using classic eyelashes (1 false eyelash to 1 natural eyelash). This method is great for those who would like to keep it natural, but thicken/fluff out their natural lashes.
Volume lashes are full, fluffy, luxurious lashes for those who would like a more dramatic effect or to fill out the lashes of those with more sparse eyelashes. Volume lashing is the method in which 2 or more false lashes are attached to 1 natural eyelash. These are then referred to as "2D. 3D, 4D" etc. with the number before the letter D representing how many eyelashes are in each fan. The most commonly used is 3D.
LVL stands for length-volume-lift, and the idea is simple: a therapist uses a setting serum to straighten your natural lashes at the root (making them look curled up), and then your lashes are tinted, creating the appearance of mascara.
This is the perfect alternative to eyelash extensions that requires almost no maintenance.
This treatment involves the styling of your natural brows by shaping the brows using either wax or a plucking method and then tinting them to achieve a fuller look.
Brow Lamination is a popular new treatment that uses the same solutions used in an LVL to manipulate the brow hairs into a new position and fix them in place. The treatment is finished off with a wax and tint to complete the look leaving you with flawless and fleeky brows that last weeks!
Microblading is a semi-permanent tattoo technique used to create the illusion of naturally full brows and can be seen in the top of the image.
After consulting you regarding shape, style and colour, the brow area is cleaned and prepped for work. I then use a hand-held tool and professional pigments to recreate the natural look of eyebrow hairs.
This is the ultimate brow treatment. It offers the best of both, manual shading and hair stroke effects, combined together to achieve a beautifully natural yet defined brow. The brow is covered with a base of hair strokes and then the mid to tails of the brow are covered lightly with shading to achieve a full yet still natural looking brow.
Unlike microblading, powder/ombre brows are done with a handheld machine with a single needle. The needle gently implants pigment into the very upper layers of the skin. When first done, powder brows can appear quite dark however once healed, the ombre techniques used during the treatment help the brows still look natural yet full, as opposed to blocky, which is a very common misconception.
Lip Blush is a cosmetic tattoo that involves using a handheld machine (the same that is used for powder brows) to implant pigment into the lips. Although we cannot change the complete size and shape of the lips, we can enhance your natural shape, define your cupids bow and can even do small corrections to shaping. Lip blush lasts much longer than brows meaning fewer top ups are required.
Dermaplaning is a cosmetic procedure that removes the top layer of skin and vellus hair (peach fuzz) from the face. There are many benefits of dermaplaning, including the reduction of acne scarring, reduction of fine lines and wrinkles and giving the face an instant glow, with a perfectly smooth base!
There is no down time for this treatment and there are very few risks involved, making it a super convenient treatment for all.
